Our story
We started to help the Church
About SecuritasIT
SecuritasIT started in December 2024 from an Advent meditation. Our founder converted to Catholicism in 2022, followed by his entire family in 2023. Over Advent 2024, a meditation on how to serve the Church resulted in an idea: Continue doing managed cybersecurity, but do it at zero profit for Catholic dioceses, churches, and charities. This launched SecuritasIT, a subsidiary of Cyber Risk Analysis Group®.
Our vision is simple: Catholic organizations should be able to use revenue to maximize ministry. Cybersecurity is mandatory in the current tech landscape, and most cyber firms have high net profits and large retained earnings balances at the end of the year. We believe this money could be put to better use by Catholic organizations doing ministry.
Our mission is equally simple: Provide enterprise level cybersecurity integration services to Catholic dioceses, churches, and charities at zero profit. We believe this is the best way we can help the Church, because it's what we're already doing for mid-market companies. The prophet Isaiah told the Israelites to "Go, set a watchman" (Isaiah 21:6). While the theological depth of Prophet Isaiah is nearly limitless, at the material level, a watchman in Iron Age cities stood in a watchtower and looked outward and inward to ensure the safety and preparedness of the city. This idea inspired our logo. In the same way, we've built a stack of enterprise level cyber tools for Catholic organizations to mitigate risk across the cybersecurity landscape.
Our values mirror the values of Cyber Risk Analysis Group, the parent brand for mid-market corporations: Competence, Professionalism, Consistency, and Vigilance. We hire first for technical skill. We hire experts who can consistently deliver their expertise to our clients and are persistently curious about how to do things better and stay ahead of changes in the cyber landscape.
About Cyber Risk Analysis Group
Cyber Risk Analysis Group started in 2020 to change the MSP space. We saw MSPs putting marketing before operations with slow response times, poor technical expertise, and inattention to change. We committed to being in the top 5% of MSPs in the U.S. for customer service, and we've consistently delivered every quarter to both our enterprise and SMB clients. We grew exponentially through word of mouth, and we made it into the top 10% largest MSPs in the U.S. by 2024. We did this by hiring great people, picking the best technologies, and limiting ourselves to supporting Microsoft cloud and Windows environments, so we can become experts working in a flow state across our client base.
As we grew, and through our participation in C12 and His Way at Work, we realized that CRAG's impact is more than just profits or great tech. What we do has eternal significance, in how we take care of our customers and employees. We're defined by more than our industry-leading tech stack and innovative approach to delivering services. We work for a Higher Purpose, with God at the center of our efforts, and a culture defined by Christian values. We strive for integrity and excellence in all things, demonstrated by our core values of Competence, Professionalism, Consistency, and Vigilance.
